elder abuse,
unlawful restraint,
financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult,
forgery,
uttering forged instruments,
attempted obtaining by false pretenses,
and conspiracy.
Additional civil actions sought to void the POA, void the cabin transfer, freeze Blue Alder’s accounts, and unwind the investment-account liquidations as far as possible.
The judge voided the cabin deed pending final adjudication and entered a lis pendens so no resale could occur.
Pinewater’s initial deposit remained frozen in escrow.
Julian was arrested first.
Chloe followed two days later after investigators confirmed she handled the false notarization arrangement, storage unit, medication schedule, and several financial transfers.
