Security contracts.
Access to storage sites.
In return, prosecutors evaluated his cooperation under standard legal procedures.
When asked about Dustin’s threats against Marcy, Victor said:
“I never authorized anyone to touch that woman or her family.”
Agent Pierce asked:
“Did you create an environment where Dustin believed your name could be used that way?”
Victor paused.
“Yes.”
That answer surprised everybody.
Then:
“I spent thirty years making people afraid of what might happen if they crossed me. My nephew learned fear was cheaper than actual violence.”
Not remorse.
Recognition.
Marcy chose never to meet him.
Good.
She did not owe a dangerous man closure merely because one part of Dustin’s story about him was false.
Evan was eventually arrested in Mexico after attempting to travel under fraudulent identification.
He had the stolen blue drive.
Still encrypted.
He never cracked it.
That detail delighted Marcy more than it probably should have.
She deserved one petty victory.
The drive became evidence anyway.
Metadata helped establish interception.
Marcus Vale testified about the substitution.
Dustin’s financial accounts were frozen pending litigation and forfeiture proceedings where legally appropriate.
His professional fighting career vanished.
Promoters stopped calling.
The state athletic commission suspended his license while criminal proceedings were pending.
Ray Madsen sold his interest in Hale Fight Club and accepted consequences related to financial misconduct he admitted.
The gym remained open under a different operator.
